Episode 1: TGI Friday’s Sweet and Smoky Chicken

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

In this debut episode of FreezerBurns, I decided to take the plunge with an appetizer from one of America’s favorite bistros, TGI Friday’s. The Sweet and Smoky Chicken looked disgusting and tasted just ok.

There is a very valid reason that frozen food companies instuct the consumer to WAIT one minute after food preparation. You need to do your homework before your actual taping so you come across to your viewers as informed and educated. I would liketo help you. I have been employed by a MAJOR frozen food company for over twenty one years. Thank You.

Hi Brent, Thanks for your comment. I am well aware of why they instruct the consumer to wait. But it is my duty to show people why. The average consumer is too stupid to follow directions. And…if you see in future episodes, sometimes, even when I did wait the instructed times, it is too hot to eat. I welcome any information you can give me about the frozen food industry.
