Episode 18: Day-Lee Brand Pork Gyoza Potstickers
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
My mouth has tasted potstickers from all over asia in my eating career. These little meat pockets are perfect for snacks, lunches, and dinners. But will they be good enough for my stomach? The Freezerburn microwave is broken this week but me, the Frozen Food Master, still rocked this review stove-top style!
FreezerBurnsTM is a video review show on a mission to deliver you real reviews and real answers to one of life’s most stressful decisions: choosing the best frozen foods on the planet. Greg is the Frozen Food MasterTM and acts as both food critic and guinea pig. Join him every tuesday and friday as he eats his way through the freezer aisle one box at a time, only on Hungry Nation.

I find that both fried dumplings (“potstickers”) and steamed dumplings go well with a sauce made of a bit of: soy sauce, red vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and sesame seed oil (and chili sauce if you like spicy). I generally measure these out by feel/taste, so experiment for yourself, if you like….
