Michelina’s Authentico Meatloaf
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

Like I always say, you get what you pay for. And this Michelina’s meal is no different. Don’t be fooled by the antique picture of the cute old lady on the cover. The only thing it says is Michelina has been serving up low-cost, low valued slop for a long time. Or at least they would like you to believe they have. This was only $1 and it tastes like a 20 cent meal at best.

The meatloaf is gritty, the sauce is pastey and the mashed potatoes are well…like some wallpaper paste. The finished cooked product looks like a Rothko painting with its red field fading into white. But the only thing artistic is my ability to choke down the entire meal despite its redeeming (sarcasm) qualities.
You get what you paid for indeed.

My wife found a huge bug in one of Micheelina’s frozen meals. Details can be found here:

I’d advise everyone to avoid this product. The other half of this bug is still out there…
