The First (Known) Freezerburns Spoof Video

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

THE Michael Schneider of BelchingMonkey.com apparently thinks being a frozen food master is easy stuff as he tries his hand reviewing the Trader Joes Shepherds Pie. Word to the wise ladies and gentlemen, this is for professionals only. What Mr. Schneider doesn’t know is I studied under the great Monseiur Congélateur in Paris to earn my Frozen Food Review license. But it wasn’t until I completed my full training in the freezer district of Tokyo under the Grand Master there did I, myself achieve Frozen Food Master status.

FreezerBurnsTM is a video review show on a mission to deliver you real reviews and real answers to one of life’s most stressful decisions: choosing the best frozen foods on the planet. Greg is the Frozen Food MasterTM and acts as both food critic and guinea pig. Join him every tuesday and friday as he eats his way through the freezer aisle one box at a time, only on Hungry Nation.

Some people are disappointed that I did not finish the review. Inscrutibly, I was able to find a perfectly nuked Trader Joe’s Shepherd’s pie amongst the wreckage.

The potatoes are light and almost fluffy. The next time I make one, I am going to give the conventional oven a try, however, I do think that the microwave is an excellent option. The vegatables were all plump, juicy and tender. The meat, as I said in the video, is sort of like corned beef, but it’s quite delicious, not too moist, not too dry. 4/5 stars
