Episode 48: On-Cor Gravy and Salisbury Steak
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
I should have known. The Frozen Food Master has had enough experience with the “you get what you pay for” category. But despite all signs pointing “no” and a retail price of under $2 for a family sized box of mystery meat, I tried it anyway. I knew this was a total quantity over quality sell when I saw the big number proclaiming the 6 Salisbury Steaks in the box. What I didn’t know is how important On-Cor thinks their gravy is to the overall value.

This reminds me of the time washed I chicken eggs with nearly developed embryos down with cow urine.
No, it’s not really me. Don’t get excited.

Just FYI: After you chewed, the little look to the camera before you spoke, I laughed my ass off.

Squirrel meat is fantastic slow cooked into a stew. Zero fat. Tastes similar to rabbit, just nuttier.

icecycle66, i’m not judging but I will take your word for it. I don’t do rodents. Sort of a self-imposed rule.

Once bought it(no encore); ate about half the box(being more edible than its contents); fed most of it to my deceased pet(dead dogs tell no “tales”); subsequently burned the remainder like a Ouija board(turnabout being fair play: I grew tired of being burnt by these demonic squirrel-sacrificers.)

Surely you have confused not being “anxious” to taste this with not being “eager” at the beginning.

Idiot! You have to place an On-Cor in an oven to get the full taste, microwave kills an On-Cor. Also, I've been eating On-Cor's since I was kid and the Salisbury Steak has changed since then. They're a lot thinner but they are cheaper so that's a good thing.

Why be rude and call someone an idiot? He followed the directions on the box! IF On-Cor didn't want you to put in the microwave, they wouldn't put in a microwave safe dish NOR would they put mircowave directions.

Salisbury steak is either ground round slow cooked or a cubed steak cooked in a tomato sauce.
