Alexia Tuscan Style Grilled Steak Panini Video Review (Ep54)

I must admit, this “panini” phase is starting to really get old. Everywhere you go to eat these days for lunch seems to be equipped with a panini press. Yeah, yeah, yeah, panini: its reallly just a fancy word for melt but people are afraid it makes it seem less “cafe” and more “diner”.

The Paninimania has also hit the frozen food aisle to mixed results. It’s sort of tough to get a crispy bread and a soft center when you are nuking it from a frozen brick state for a couple of minutes. I had my doubts but the Alexia Tuscan Style Grilled Steak Panini has opened my eyes for what is possible with a simple crisping tray and a couple of minutes in the microwave.

I always wondered how those Panini’s taste, but never bought them because I figured they wouldn’t crisp up to real well in the microwave. Thanks for the review. I think I’ll add them to the cart next time I shop.

I love the show, but you really need to get an itunes version that is low-res for iPod’s (iPhone’s) and old Mac’s. I can only watch your show on-line with flash, which really limits when I can watch. Keep bringing it, but bring us a low res iPod friendly version too!

Hey did you have any problems digesting it?The reason I ask is everything I eat from Alexia doesn't agree with my stomach.And I've tried alot of their products.

Yes a Panini is nothing more then a fancy way of saying Grilled _______ Sandwich. It all goes back to one word….Marketing!
