Episode 56: Kid Cuisine Cheese Blaster Mac & Cheese

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

I know that I am supposed to be an adult but there’s no denying the suggestive imagery of a cartoon penguin holding a hose between his legs shooting out cheese onto some pasta. And there it is on the box of the Kid Cuisine Cheese Blaster Mac & Cheese.

Is this Mac & Cheese good enough? And will you feel comfortable serving this to your kids? The Frozen Food Master lets you know his verdict.

I love the Mac & Cheese too!

I don't like Kraft Mac and Cheese simply because it's fake. It tastes like you're eating artificial cheese soup most of the time. I can tolerate the Three Cheese one, but most of the time it just doesn't feel right.
  • That episode was full of classic moments. I'm really surprised to hear that it was actually somewhat good. I watched this episode with my parents while I was running some updates on their computer. I was, of course, reminded that I would always beg for the chicken nugget meal with the pudding (which I do not recall exploding into my chicken haha) and then I would decide I didn't like it. Next time we went to the store.. you guessed it, I asked for it again haha! Thanks for some good laughs with the family.
  • Greg,

Thanks for doing the Kid Cuisine, I've been wanting to see that. I'm amazed at how much you enjoyed the Mac & Cheese...better than Old Country Buffett's?.....I don't know.....that's up there....

Those are quite a set of instructions should be Kid (with the help of Mom, not Dad) Cuisine. An interesting poll or question to ask is what percentage of people follow ALL of the directions when cooking their frozen meals.

The penguin's name in the early 90's was BJ Penguin but is now simply KC Penguin....unimaginative if you ask me. They used to all have the polar bear chef...he was awesome!
