Episode 59: The Perfect Bite Co. Pumpkin Spice Pastry Kisses
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
Do you remember your first kiss? Was it nice and smooth? Was it warm and wet? Did it send electric bolts of exhilaration up your spine? Mine certainly did. So imagine my excitement when I decided to try out these Pumpkin Spice Pastry Kisses from the Perfect Bite Company. This product, in a certain way compares its taste to your perfect kiss right on the box.
So I was super psyched to recreate that feeling in my mouth. Boy was I disappointed. I had a first kiss with a super hot (at least I thought so then) chick who rocked my world. This company’s idea of a first kiss is sucking face to a piece of melba toast. And to add insult to injury, they charged close to 8 bucks for these little pumpkin cheesecakes. Blech!

Dang, 8 bucks! Just when I was saying I thought you were getting really good deals from your local freezer aisle you throw this at me. Even if they were amazing I don’t think I’d pay that much. Did you get a chance to see what other items the company sells…wait I’m online, lemme check….
Wauh….they’ve got a huge assortment of “Award Winning Pastry Kisses”, some savory some sweet (http://www.theperfectbiteco.com/products.asp?dept=2) and they’re priced even higher, $9.95, through their website.
They’ve also got a heap load of appetizers from quiches to cocktail pizzas even dim sum (http://www.theperfectbiteco.com/departments.asp?dept=5)

The summary at the end was the best part. I, too, would want to be making out in the corner exploring with my tongue for $8 a box. Sad it didn’t live up to the expectation

With that money, I would go to a real bakery and pick up fresh homemade pastries.
