Episode 66: Banquet Cheesy Smothered Meat Patty Meal

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

There it was, staring it right in my face. Taunting me with its radioactive looking cheese sauce and ambiguously described “meat patty”. I couldn’t resist. I had to try it. The Banquet Cheesy Smothered Meat Patty Meal is tough to describe simply in words. I will let the video speak for itself but let’s just say, Banquet should have paid me to eat this 99 cent nightmare.

Wow........I have one in my freezer and I am now afraid of it. Mind you this is after public school in the 70s and 9 years in the US Army. I will try it , prolly cooked in the oven and give an honest blue collar dog/ Army dog opinion sometime.
I hate to waste food so I will squelch my first thought after watching this review.........leave it outside for the animals.

Hey I was actually looking for videos on how to cook pasta primavera and your I came across your site. I checked that out and then this one, because I had actually tried it. I am addicted to your reviews now.

I'd like to point out that the cheese pictured on the box looks exactly like novelty fake vomit, right down to the little chunks. Ugh.

Banquet meals are all around nasty. I will never forgive them for leaving the damn spinal column/cord in one of their pieces of fried chicken and royally freaking me out as a youngster.

Also Master - what's that t-shirt you were wearing? Slanty Eyes? And no, I'm not calling you slanty eyes.
