Like Paige said, your daughter is adorable. And it was nice to see you outdoors and not in your kitchen! It would be great to see you do more like this!

I love Bubba’s burgers, but they cost so much. And I’m glad you gave Steak-umms such a low rating. I have never had a good experience with any of their products.

I was a little disturbed by the whole fake “natural” looking shapes of the Bubba Burgers.

Great review….and yes your daughter is adorable. It is nice to see you out of the kitchen. This is up there on my favorite list.

Can you do me a favor? Check the small print on the Steak-umm box and see if it was manufactured by the Soylent Corporation.

I don’t eat red meat much any more but even when I did I hated, hated, hated frozen burger patties. They always had a cafeteria taste to them. If I ever try them again I’ll get Bubba’s.

Hi everyone, glad you liked seeing my daughter on the show! All night she kept on saying how much better the Bubba burgers were. Too funny.

@dion, @bear I have something special planned for the White Castle sliders

@paige I also have a veggie burger frodown planned. Stay tuned…

@mina the extra cost of Bubba burgers is certainly worth the price but it will still be cheaper to handpack your own.

@kerry got that Quicksilver shirt in Hawaii a few years ago. Still one of my faves..

@steve I guess they didnt want them to look like they were plopped out of a machine. They sort of had a Steak N Shake steakburger feel to it!

Your daughter is so cute! I want some burgers now. The Bubba burgers just disturb me, the way they look and feel like….they look like they should be on a science channel or something.

Cute joke!

Unconditional love = taking a bite out of a burger after someone else has taken a bite out of it

I’ve seen the Bubba burgers at the grocery here in Florida, they look really good but it is so easy to buy fresh ground and make your own, even a caveman can do it. Ground round, ground chuck, ground sirloin … pick the fat content you like.

I’m waiting for a good burger that you can microwave.

Without a doubt the best issue of FreezerBurns ever. You have a great family and I love that you featured your daughter on the show. I can only hope to have a kid that cute some day :)

Good to know about the burgers. Definitely worth the $9 from the picture you and your daughter painted. To my surprise, Wal-Mart actually makes a very good Angus beef patty as well. I had very low expectations going into it but found it very tasty. They are about half the price as well. You should try them out sometime if you dare brave the zoo that is Wal-Mart ;-)

Thanks for the great review friend and thanks for bringing great content to us that I use regularly. Your recommendations have saved me from many a bad frozen meal experience.

$9 bucks seems a little high – our local store only charges 6.99 for the regular and angus and 7.99 for the onion bubba burgers.

I bought Flanders Pattys at Walmart, grilled one and it was bad. If Walmart was close I would take them back. So to the trash they go. Now i'm off to buy the Bubba Burger for me and my guest. Thanks for making the video.

Flanders burgers are horrible! Not to mention greasy! Have a splatter screen ready to fry one. Or else wear very old clothing. Doesn't even resemble beef or any meat actually. More filler than anything.

I agree with your Bubba rating. They are very good.

Thought I might tip off you and your viewers of a great microwave technique to turn them out quickly.

What's needed is two paper plates, 1 dinner paper napkin, 1 Bubba burger.

Put the paper napkin in a paper plate and fold back one half of the napkin. Place the Bubba burger on and cover with the other half of the napkin. Place the other paper plate face down so it resembles a flying saucer.

In an 1100 watt microwave (mine), place on turntable and cook for 1:10, then, holding the plates together by grabbing opposite sides of them and flip over and cook for another 1:10.

Carefully remove the top paper plate and carefully roll back the top half of the napkin by the non greasy edges a few times. Add cheese as soon as possible (if desired) over the burger to melt. With a fork, transfer onto a bun, dressed to your liking and enjoy!

Of course, it WILL be hot for a minute or two right out of the MW.

I bought a box thinking my family might like these burgers. They HATED them and asked me to throw them out and could they eat peanut butter sandwiches that night… Please do not buy them again. My husband was quite verbally upset with them.

“The one with the Sesame Seed Buns” Oh my stomach is hurting from laughing so hard. Another great review, Greg. I heard about you from ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com. I started on ep 01 and have been watching a few eps a day before bed. I love your show and wish I could have been there from the beginning. Now I'm a year behind and have a few hundred eps to catch up before I can call myself a true fan. In any case, that comment was too funny and I had to post because of it. Keep up the good work.
