Episode 84: Cohen’s Bow Tie Pasta with Kasha

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

In today’s episode I am joined by guest star Jeff Cohen from DigitalPapercuts.com. On Freezerburns, the guest chooses the item to review and it is a complete surprise to the Frozen Food Master.

Today’s item is Cohen’s Bow Tie Pasta with Kasha, a frozen take on a traditional Jewish dish that the guest has had but the Frozen Food Master has no point of reference to judge against. How will this product rate?

Oh Greg, an old school SNL reference! Wookin pa nub! LOVE (to both you and to Eddie Murphy)!

Hahha…..how does your Gramma feel about you talkin’ about her smell? (just teasing)

Kinda Gary Vee-ish with the…”well I’ll tell you what I smell”

I love the Eddie Murphy throwback! I had this VHS when I was a kid of the best Eddie Murphy SNL skits, it was awesome and I used to watch it over and over. He did a Mr. Roger’s skit……SO funny.

Guess this one is blue (it’s got some purple tones):

Great review, I like the guest apperance and am looking forward to others….seems a little livelier (someone to bounce things off of). Nice job Jeff.

:) I’m thinking ANYTHING sauteed in butter mixed with bacon would at least be palatable…that’s great! I really like this episode…..definitely not gonna try this item.

The ethnic food section in the frozen food aisle of my grocery tends to be full of stuff you can’t microwave, at least not if you want to make it taste good.

Yeah, i really did laugh out loud when you were talking about the crackers. Like you said, put lots of bacon in it, cheese etc. whatever, but that’s cheating right? oh well, fun review anyway.

thanks again,
Todd

I have been to Ralphs, Von’s & Albertsons and I can’t find this product. Where can I get it?
