Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

The Frozen Food Master finally got a deep fryer and this was the first product that was cooked in it. And boy was it a good one. These spicy, seasoned, twisty twirly potatoes with the skin still on them were amazing. Crisp, crunchy, and seasoned perfectly, these Ore Ida Zesty Twirls reminded me of something…

Dude!!!! You used the fryer on these badboys…awesome! I’ve never had these DFed at home but I bet it makes them so much better than cooked in the oven. I like mine extra crispy, I practically 1.5x the time. I used to eat these by the fistful when I was younger.

    Hi Greg,
Tell me how you like the deep fryer, I have been thinking about getting one for myself for some time, and It would be nice to know which one to get. I have seen ones with non stick Teflon in them, but these days I stay away from that stuff.

    Thanks for your help,
    Todd

    P.S.
I always thought the whole thing about Teflon being bad for you was over rated, but a few months ago i did buy a Teflon pot for stews etc. when i went to preheat the pan, it filled my house with the smell of burning rubber. I had to open the doors for awhile to let the smell out.

Yeah, I guess i would rather soak a pan etc. in water and scrub just a little bit than to have that residue in my food.

Just my two cents, that is, if its worth that!! :-)
