Anytime I see chicken with mushrooms in a brownish sauce, I can’t help but draw comparisons to Chicken Marsala. No doubt, Lean Cuisine was inspired by the traditional italian dish when producing this meal. This Lean Cuisine Glazed Chicken consists of roasted chicken tenderloins with mushrooms, rice pilaf and green beans.
The mushrooms were no bigger than what you would find in a can of cream of mushroom soup and the green beans were sized more like garnish than a helping of vegetables. The sauce was not overly salty but still flavorful. But the best part of this meal was the chicken. It was so tender and even though I did my best to balance every forkful with equal amounts chicken and rice, I was still left with a ton of chicken.

The portion was adequate and meal tasty enough but still, I found this dish to be just ok. I am almost finished with my wholesale club Lean Cuisine multi-pack. At this point, I’m looking forward to moving on to other brands for awhile!
