USER SUBMITTED REVIEW
Ok, so I have to admit, I am partial to Kashi foods and am always trying to find interesting, but healthy frozen foods. However, I intend to review this frozen meal as impartially as I can.
Directions are pretty easy. After taking the meal out of the box, peel back a corner and microwave for 2 minutes. Peel back the plastic further, stir and microwave for a couple more minute.
After I took this out of the microwave, I immediately noticed a slightly sweet, but tangy smell. The meal consists of whole grains, with pieces of white chicken, a few red peppers and green beans mixed in. My first wish was for more vegetables.

The taste? Well honestly, the whole grains rather overpowered everything else. They were nutty and a tad chewy. Considering sweet and sour dishes typically use bland white rice, this takes a bit of getting use to. The sauce, though was a pleasant surprise. Not overly sweet like most variations of this dish and you could definitely taste the sour (I assume this was vinegar). Chicken was plentiful and all white meat. As mentioned before though, there weren’t many vegetables I would preferred less rice and more veggies. The portion size was pretty filling, but I would add a salad or other vegetable, especially if this is your dinner.
