Stouffers all the way. I've head the Boston Market mac cheese in the restaurant that is almost exactly the same as that. No way would it compare, too cheesy not creamy enough. I could only eat it with chicken and rice or something else because it's way too salty. I could eat Stouffers mac n cheese and nothing else for 3 meals a day and be satisfied. It's that good in my opinion.

i never had the boston mac and cheese but ive had a bunch of the stouffers and ya it has such a nice sharpness of the cheddar i used to soak up the rest of the cheese with bread lol but great reviews greg THE FROZEN FOOD MASTER

I was just at the grocery store the other day and as I was walking down the freezer aisles I could not stop thinking about Greg the Frozen Food Master! I glanced over and saw the mac and cheese and it reminded of the throdowns.
  • Haha, thanks Jim!
I'm just good like that :P ...but no not a super fan of his...I'm more or a bio reader....or non-fiction (Freakonomics, Outliers, Fast Food Nation, etc...), when I read fiction it's usually Brown or Tolkien over and over.
  • Jim
how did you get the King reference so quick, are you a fan of his?
  • Jim
    Bear Rocks in my book.
  • @ratbuddy .....and what's wrong with that? Apparently you have good taste in blogs then :P

I'm gonna have to start a petition somewhere to remove Bear's comment posting privileges. Bastard seems to read/comment on every damn food blog I do.

i always pop the stouffer's mac and cheese in the toaster oven to crisp up the top and edges. love the crispiness with the gooey insides. i don't know if i've simply eaten this one so many times or what, but the stouffer's mac and cheese surpasses the "fancy" ones that i've tried at restaurants. stouffer's makes a quality product.
  • Great week Greg. The Stouffer's finale was appropriate. I used to decimate boxes of Stouffer's Mac and Cheese back in High School...I would overcook it to create the crusty edges...epic.
