Episode 98: Farm Rich Chicken and Cheese Mini Quesadilla Slices
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
No one is perfect guys and that is definitely true for the Frozen Food Master. You see, this was the second time in 2 days that I reviewed this product. This is due to the fact I accidentally deleted the show on my video camera. This Farm Rich Chicken and Cheese Mini Quesadilla Slices are more than just little appetizers or quick snacks. In fact, at $6 a bag they better be! But how good are they really?

Cool review. I will never buy those… too much cheese not enough meat. I think they make french toast though? I always buy those french toast but I might be mistaking the brand name. ANY WHO…. hey can you review an Indian frozen meal? I buy them every now and then but can’t find a good one….. I don’t know maybe just because I live in America and my taste buds won’t succumb? But I would like to hear what you have to say about one..

“That’s what she said!” budaumpcha…there were several places that would fit after….anyone feel like telling me which line they think it would be?
I like the burnt parts too….same thing goes with Mac & Cheese….and Smores.
Dang! You had me from “I’ve already reviewed this item.” I was looking forward to the fire juggling and orchestra….they will forever be lost in the black hole that is deleted media content….what transpired at the FFM’s mansion just prior to this…we’ll never know.
“….at my local Harris Teeter, which tends to go a little higher.” Greg’s subtle hit that he lives in a nice neighborhood and that he’s LOADED!
(just playing)

@Tod: Of course Burntness is a word! If I can get away with “struesalicious” anything is possible.
@Adrianne: Yes, I think they make French toast sticks. As for the Indian food, to be honest, i’m afraid. I’m very afraid. But for you? I’ll put it on the list.
@Bear: Yeah the orchestra was top notch too. bummer. And believe me, the Freezerburns kitchen is far from being in mansion! Episode 100 will be a good one and it WILL publish wednesday. Stay tuned..

Greg, your nutritional stats on the review don’t match what you have printed..but, boy those are small for the calories. Two cheese blends are typically colby and jack. 4 cheese are almost always italian.
I think I must be old school, I like the tortilla Quesas, not doughy ones. But great review!

@Meg: Thanks for the catch. I have fixed them. Serves me right for trying to use online to get the nutritional facts rather than look on the bag.

That looks like a tiny little empanada to me (my mom makes some killer empanadas)

I like the packaging transition of a lot of frozen foods lately. Bag instead of box works a lot better. I make a kick ass chicken quesadilla myself so I might get these and see how they compare.

@Rob: It was puffy like an empanada but not as flavorful.
@Ryan: I like the bag as well. It gives better freezer packing opportunities and the ziplock resealing is invaluable.

Quesadillas are already so easy to make and straightforward, I wonder if I would buy a frozen version of them? I rarely think to myself “how about a nice quesadilla tonight,” but rather find that all I have at 8pm are some tortillas, cheese, and maybe some chicken, and throw it together.

@Royce: I totally agree. When you really think about what goes into these mini quesadilla slices you need to think about how easy and fresher it would be to make them yourself. That being said, when you are craving some 4th meal grub, nothing beats a bag of these in the freezer that you can prepare in less than 2 minutes.

Harris Teeter! My local grocery store too here in DC. I could have sworn you got some of your stuff from HT cause every time you found a “new” product, I found the exact same one.

Sams Club also sells this brand in a larger boxes. You should try the Farm Rich pepperoni slices, they are really good. I havent found any microwaveable pizza product that tastes as good, and they disappear very fast in this house.

I have purchased countless bags of these babies, Farm Rich outta send me a gift card or a t-shirt. These things are straight up delicious, especially with sour cream and guacamole. One of the best microwavable products I have ever bought.
