Episode 112: Kashi Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

Does an all-natural whole grain pizza sound good to you? In past experiences, all-natural whole grain pizzas have meant no taste, a sacrifice in texture and structure, and sometimes blandness. God knows we can’t have blandness. So needless to say I was skeptical before I tasted this Kashi Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza. Would it be better than I thought? Or will it be a piece of cardboard in my belly?

Hey Greg… I was thinking that my favorite trio was going to be ZZ Top, Rush or Cream… then I remembered 'Snap, Crackle & Pop' – I hear the Rice Krispies calling me from the kitchen. Midnight cereal snack coming up!

Hey Greg, Bear can correct me if I'm wrong, but the “wooden thing” I believe is called a pizza paddle.

Favorite trio? I have to let my inner Trekkie out and say that my favorite trio is Captain Kirk, Mister Spock, and Bones McCoy. Comedy gold those three.

Hahahahha, as soon as you started stumbling I was yelling “peel….it's a pizza peel!” Sometimes people call it a paddle, but it's a peel. Oh yep, sure enough look at Moriah :P

I wonder how many goobers out there have thrown the whole box in the oven and lit that bad boy up….you know it's been done….come on someone, fess up.

“Ka-pow”….we gotta get you some nice Batman style screen shots of words like that to overlay in. There have been several times where you've done that…”Bam!” “Bang!”

Yeah, whole wheat can be tricky, you can go so wrong with it….haha, like Amy's. I serve a really good whole wheat pie here. I like when all the components meld nicely and nothing over powers one another, sauce, crust, chicken, roasted peppers…it makes the difference between a soso pie and a 4 1/2 star pie.

Favorite trio? I guess I'll have to go with Archie, Veronica & Betty….but that's not totally a trio….maybe Jordan, Pippen & Rodman….nah, still not really a trio….I'm gonna have to come up with something better. Randy's is a good one! Porkchop, Skeeter & Doug!!!

P.S. Nicely done with your Red Sox sir. We'll see about tonite.

Hey Greg,
Answering your questions about my favorite trio ( pizza talk ). Would have to be garlic, jalapeno & green peppers. That is a awesome pizza combo. Try it!

I knew that BearSilber would come through immediately! I too was shouting in my head (I watched the episode coming home tonight on the BART train, so couldn't actually vocalize), trying to transmit the word “peel” to you.

Ladeeda: play nice, please.

The Three Stooges, nyuknyuknyuk.
