A Little Perspective on Sodium Content in Frozen Foods
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
Here is a little perspective on the sodium content in frozen foods. Frequently I get the comment of how frozen foods are too high in sodium. To this statement, I cannot disagree. But when I hear it from people that then go out to eat at popular restaurants like Chili’s or Fridays, or Applebees, etc, I feel they need to be educated.
That’s why I was excited to see this post from Epic Portions called “The Heart Attack Hall of Fame”
For example: You may think a Hungry Man dinner clocking in at 2210mg of sodium is bad. How about the Awesome Blossom from Chili’s that has 6,360 mg of sodium!
Check out the great post at Epic Portions.

Hahah. I've seen this list in the MensHealth…very apropos though. I think people definitely come down hard on you (even though sometimes you're only eating a few forkfuls).
Some of those are SO astonishing. The sad fact is people out there want those items and actually eat them……and more too! Look at any Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Howntown, Old Country Buffet, etc. I actually get a kick out of watching these folks sometimes.
