Episode 113: Aunt Jemima French Toast Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

It makes perfect sense. You already have a plate full of french toast and all the fixings for a breakfast sandwich, why not jam them together? But microwaving something together and hoping for some parts to be firm and others to be soft can be tricky. Will this Aunt Jemima French Toast Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich be cooked to a perfect consistency and taste?

nice review! I love buttery flavors so i would probably dig that. Descent stuff although cafeteria quality. I was sort of suprised you gave it only a 2 and a half.

Aw, too bad this wasn't better... it had so much potential for greatness (and by "potential for greatness", of course I mean "French toast infused with maple syrup", which usually makes everything taste better).

Oh well... I guess the freezer aisle just can't top the McGriddle... at least for the time being.

    YUMMY McGriddles are the bomb!!!

That was an easy movie quote trivia question. Let me know if you guys do a movie trivia game I am definitely down.
  • I gotta say, the preview pic of the vid is the best one yet....look at that smile :P

Yeah, how come Unc never gets any love? But Jemima don't need no marketing mumbo-jumbo.

McGriddles are amazing...they really should be outlawed...they are the crack of fast food breakfast. So damn bad for you but SO damn good. I really think I could throwdown like 5 of those in a sitting.

Duff rocks! I would love to meet that guy, he seems so jolly.....and I love Baltimore, that's a great city.

The only problem with the whole defrost at 1/2 power, 30 seconds, etc, etc, is that a young kid can't make it on his own easily.

Oh Greg....that's not hot cheese, try melted mozzarella coming out of a 700 degree oven :P

I think your rating is appropriate, that think looks like it was made in the year 3000 and shipped back here. Completely factory produced....come one AJ where's the love. Is there and "love" listed in the ingredient list? Maybe that's whats missing....I know the McGriddles contain an almost unhealthy amount of love...that's why they're so good.

    Name the movie:
"I would like to say this. Tardiness is not something you can do on your own. Many, many people contributed to my tardiness. I would like to thank: my parents, for never giving me a ride to school; the LA city bus driver, who took a chance on an unknown kid; and, last but not least, the wonderful crew from McDonalds, who spend hours making those egg McMuffins (McGriddles) without which I might never be tardy."

Bear, I know I have said this before but you guys have some yummy looking pizzas at Pizza Party. Makes me wish I lived there.
  • Haha, thanks Sarge! I'm loving what I'm doing! Check this out, it starts tomorrow, I'm excited:

Too easy Bear. That would be Travis Birkenstock in Clueless. (what can I say, I'm like Rain Man). Lets do this Movie quote game again soon...hopefully not sporadically.
  • Haha, good use of the word of the day. I knew that one was easy...just so fitting though.
