Smell: pick up a little of the feta and olives. Mild spinach.

Looks: Looks great! Lots of spinach, and olives. Just a few chunks of feta, but there is an underlayment of Mozzarella cheese covering the crust.

This my second Whole Foods pizza to review and having ridden many miles in the hot, sticky sun, I am ready for lots of salt! (see my previous review for inside joke)

Anyway, this pizza has three of my favorite foods on it and upon taking a bite, I was a little disappointed. There isn’t a lot of sauce on this pizza, but it definately has a sweetness to it that seems out of place with the toppings. Because of that, it detracted my tastebuds. The olives did have a tangy bite to them, but the feta was boring. It’s like they took a regular cheese pizza and threw on these three toppings. The thin crust, like the other Whole Foods pizza I reviewed, is very good, nice and crispy on the outside, but tender on the inside. Overall, it’s a better pizza than the likes of Tombstone, etc, but I wouldn’t buy it again. I think I’m done with the Whole Food 350 pizza brand and will start exploring the world of Target’s Archer Farms.

  • Meg, dang, too bad. "I think I’m done with the Whole Food 350 pizza brand...." Hehe, guess they're minus 15 points in your book.

I make an amazing Greek Veggie here, with pesto sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, black olives, feta and fresh garlic....mmmmmm, it's so good :P

@Bear...mail me a slice, would you? It's the sauce that makes it! Pesto seems more logical than tomato. So when are you opening a store in Chicago? :)
  • I don't know about mailing...the cheese will get all coagulated and such :)

Chicago? I'd love to...I need to conquer San Francisco first :P
  • Meg
No, no...don't cook it. Wait until January and just pop it in the mail. I'm sure it will remain frozen :)
