Episode 122: Barber Foods Chicken Grillables

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

Its the Fourth of July and that means only one thing: throwing some meat on the grill and eating some meaty grub. So when Barber Foods contacted me about their New Chicken Grillables product, I knew I needed to review this before the big cookout weekend. Will the Frozen Food Master dig chicken burgers? Or will he think its just foul?

You should publish the nutritional facts online. No need to say it on the video. I think you should however, read the ingredients, or at least outline main ingredients in the video, and definitely list all of the ingredients online too.

Favorite burger toppings for me are bleu cheese , bacon , This makes a burger more like a restraunt burger. I enjoy these on french hamburger rolls for a cheap dinner that has an elegant flair. I would love to have free meal coupon. Could really use it for my family of seven in these tough times.

Hey Greg. We don't need the nutritional information read aloud to us, because it takes a long time, and it's typed out right below. If you look at it and find something interesting, definitely mention it, but we can skim it if we need to.
  • To your last question:

I love Dijon mustard, tomato, onion, and lettuce.
  • I agree that you should just publish the nutrition information in text form. I never look at nutrition facts on a package, so the information is useless to me. But, I guess some people do get value out of it.
  • BTW, if it's a patty melt (on rye bread), all it needs is cheese and grilled onions. YUM.

FFM: re toppings on burgers, cheese is #1. Lettuce adds texture which is nice, then just a little mustard and ketchup; tomato just makes things slide around. If it's a turkey burger, some avocado and bacon punch up the flavour and give the (potentially dry) meat more unctuousness.

Steven mentioned cole slaw - that's OK if it's a pulled pork sandwich, but I don't want that on a fat juicy hamburger.
