Kashi Caribbean Carnival Pizza

Oh boy, oh boy, was I ever excited to try this pizza. This is definitely not a carnivore’s pizza, but sometimes you need to give your arteries a rest. The actual pizza is very close to the picture on the box, except there was much more kale on my pizza. Lucky me! Anyway, there were plenty of toppings. The smell was very subtle, but I could pick up the Plantains and some onions. Didn’t smell of the Jerk sauce. But with the first bite, you could definitely taste it. Not spicy, really, but coordinated well with the fruity toppings.
The regular crust is crusty, yet chewy on the inside. Very good. Holds the toppings well. There is cheese underneath, but it doesn’t really factor into the mix. The little cubes of mango give this pizza a nice burst of sweetness, but the best part is the Plantains. They are the star of the show. I was swooning every time I had a mouthful of one…ok, so my life is dull, what can I say. Overall, I’d say t his is one of the best Kashi pizzas ever and if you are looking for a unique vegetarian pizza, look no further.

The only reason this did not get a perfect score is because I wanted more than 5 measily slices of Plantains!
