Good review, food wise.
Although I appreciated the online connectivity and the fan interaction, I have to say I'm not a fan of the ustream video, or at least the way it turned out this time. The audio and video are of much lesser quality and worst of all is that it's incompatible with many of the subscription options on the site like iTunes and my usual way of getting it, Miro/RSS. If there are going to be a bunch more like this as said, maybe these issues can be worked out.

Greg, I'm SO glad you threw this up…I was there during the taping but I didn't actually get to watch….I got busy and sort of heard it going on but not really….I hear Whoppers are good (which I hate), they're like eating air….but I do want to try the PB Reese's version, I've never had a bad Reese's product…..but never been a fan of the Malt Balls. Then I heard my name….something about missing out of the Belching Monkey review
Damn me.
I've never been a big fan of sorbet but there are times I do enjoy it….but gelato….man alive….gelato is amazing! I remember the first time I had a Rita's (visiting a friend in Florida), as a California boy this was heaven….I know it wasn't quite gelato but this was my first foray down that line……amazing!!!!
That's awesome that they RTd you!
To me I don't like the citrus flavors unless I'm wanting something really light and almost as a palate cleanser….if I had to chose between that and a chocolate/gelato, etc I would ALWAYS opt for the latter. Just to be clear…when I polish off that whole pint it's over 1000 calories
…..you know….I agree, sometimes the Ben & Jerry's pints are SO packed with toppings and other stuff that it's a bit much, sometimes it's nice to have just the straight ice cream. I think it's actually a plus that you had these in the freezer open for 4 days….that's more how the “regular” consumer would consume them.
“How can you hate Whoppers!” – Hahahaha. It's like eating NOTHING. Hahaha, that is the weirdest description….egg nog, malt ball, foot odor
I do love egg nog but not the other two flavors.
Yeah do like a 30 flavor MASSIVE Frodown. Awesome live review Greg…wish I coulda really been there….especially for the Belching Monkey one. Sup with the no QOTDs? How 'bout one for you….what's you favorite gelato flavor? …..guess mine would be a peanut butter chocolate mix but in all honesty I've never had a bad one.

Sorry I missed the live chat… would have been fun. Oh well; hopefully another time.
@bryancover – I agree with you about the quality of the Ustream videos not being quite as good; I wouldn't want to have all of the Freezerburns episodes in this format… still, the interactive part makes it fun; I would enjoy having these “live” reviews once in a while (and am definitely looking forward to the next actual “Freezerburns Live” event), but wouldn't really want the Ustream videos to completely replace the regular video reviews.
I must admit, I don't like gelato… but I don't like regular ice cream, either. (I know, I know… shocking, but true.) I do like sorbet, however… and this particular sorbet sounds delicious! I've never encountered a lemon sorbet with actual pieces of lemon peel in it; seems like it would add a nice taste/texture contrast. I'll have to look for this sorbet; I've never paid much attention to Ciao Bella products in the past because I only knew that they made gelato… I didn't know that they made sorbet as well. I will definitely be giving this sorbet a try if I can find it.
Despite not caring for gelato myself, I would definitely enjoy seeing a major frodown of all of the Ciao Bella flavors… you could find out which ones are the best, or even give a definitive ranking of all of the flavors! Then we could all refer to the “Official Frozen Food Master's Ranking of Ciao Bella Flavors” when deciding which products might be worth trying. Then again, it looks like there are a LOT of Ciao Bella flavors… such an undertaking would probably require a lot of Lactaid…
Great review, Greg! Looking forward to more reviews, live and otherwise.

Yea, baby, the Key Lime Pie is the BOMB! Have you tried the Chocolate Jalapeno? Very interesting. Can't eat a lot of it, has a bite. I do like the Malted Milk.
