Episode 197: Kid Cuisine KC’s Karate Chop Chicken Sandwich

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

Could it be that KC does not stand for Kid Cuisine but rather for Kwai Chang, the Shaolin priest and martial arts master that “battles the diabolical power of an evil Manchu mastermind when he uncovers an opium-smuggling plot in northern California in the late 1880s.” If so, then this Kid Cuisine KC’s Karate Chop Chicken Sandwich is way cooler than the original Kung Fu movie itself. If it isn’t true then it is Kid Cuisine’s lame attempt to make an ordinary chicken sandwich, more interesting. (At least KC packed in a nice little surprise for the Frozen Food Master.)

You only gave me 4 choices, but I don't agree with any of them. My choice is Jean-Claude Van Damme. He was a monster in the late 80's and early 90's.

Yes!!!! Kid Cuisine, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chop that bad boy….It's Karate Chop cause you're supposed to split the bun that way, come on Greg, Chuck Norris could've done it :)

“Strawberry flavored”??? Are there strawberries in the ingredient lists? I'm not a fan of Pop Rocks….I don't think I'd care for the meal much. Good going on tackling the sangwich with the tater attached. “Dude, if the taters are stuck together it counts as one tater!”

“…we're going to cook this baby in the microwave…” – Ummmmm, you've been saying that an awful lot….I'm thinking you might want to alter your slang a little….I know where the authorities will start their search if something comes up…..just teasing.

Good eye on the sizable veggie portion, that's actually bigger than most regular TV Dinners veggies.

I HATE mushy tater tots/tater puffs, bleeeech.

“Nothing really grossed me out.” Hahha, is that a positive statement?

Dude! No question….Ralph Macchio….did you know he is 47 now!!! WTF? ….but if I were allowed to choose from any non-Asian martial artist it would be wither Michael Treanor (Rocky from 3 Ninjas) or Donatello of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (That's a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool but crude (Gimme a break!)
Michaelangelo is a party dude (Party!)

Back in the US and caught up on 14 episodes of FB today! Some great stuff recently! Monkey bread is amazing, even better when it is homemade. Always get Dels at Fenway when I am sitting in the bleachers…don't know if they still sell it there or not.

The answer to todays question is easily Chuck Norris, the Missing in Action films are classic.

Bear – good call on 3 ninjas, that movie is great!

Greg, saw your twitter post about the free schwans meal, maybe make this into a future live event? Get everyone to grab the same thing from this website?

Um, my answer is ME. I am my most favorite non-asian martial artist. Yeah baby. Tae Kwon Do and Wu Shu.
If I am FORCED to choose from your list, David Carradine. (don't know if I spelled that right). Kill Bill was awesome.

When I was a kid I never got any kind of pre-made meals, like lunchables or kid cuisine. i felt cheated then, but i'm glad now. i've had them and they arent delicious. the only good parts are the desserts (as you found out).

Sorry, I have to choose my own…Chris Black in KungFu Panda! I used to LOVE pop rocks! It explains why they didn't give you a whole lot, too many would make you crazy.

Maybe do another episode with your little one. After all, it is geared towards kids.
