I had some amazing wok-charred udon noodles this past weekend at a restaurant in Boston. Other than that I am a burger guy through and through.

It's only fitting that the Frozen Food Master should hook up with the Freezer Queen. And impressed with the price. It reminds me of the Banquet version I used to buy when I was broke(er)

Anything on the grill is great, but if I have to get specific, steak! Thanks for the great review. I bet these came from the parts of the cow we don't even want to think about! FFM, gotta question. You buy a lot of food for these reviews, do you write it off as a business expense? Do you have a dog you give all the icky stuff to? Just curious.

Hi Meg! Yes, I write it off as a business expense. To date this year I have spent over 2k in food to review. No I do not have a dog or any type of pet to give the food to. Such a waste.

thanks for not spoiling what you thought about the food in your paragraph under the video. you sometimes do that.

to answer your question “what kind of meat is this?”, i believe it's beef

i guess i'll also answer your other question “what do you like with char marks on it?”, i think hot dogs would be the best to have the marks on, because with other meats, like chicken, steak, and burgers, the grill marks tend to be a sign of the meat being on the drier side.

thanks for the great review

AS, I don't think he spoiled the outcome on this one. He was just pointing out what we were all thinking. For less than $3 you do have to wonder what you are getting. Granted the outcome matched the initial concerns I still watched the entire thing just to see how it really ended up tasting.

I love the painted on grill lines that wash off as the product cooks don't you? Favorite grilled food…I'd have to say my hand shaped burgers

I like anything with charred marks on it as long as the marks are legit.

I made the HUGE mistake of buying these I decided to see what kind of reviews there were on them. FYI – if you look at the Freezer Queen site these are no longer all “beef” – but made with “mechanically separated chicken, pork, textured vegetable protein and beef”. Ewwwwwwwwww!!!!!! Guess the all beef ones didn't suck bad enough.

And just in case you're wondering – the meatloaf and salisbury steaks are made with the same mouth-watering mixture. YUMMY!

I like a nice thick bacon-wrapped turkey mignon hot off the grill. Talk about a food with anidentity crisis; lean, juicy, 98% fat-free, protein-rich turkey breast enveloped by a nice fatty, greasy, sodium-rich slice of bacon. Awesome.
