Episode 213: Kid Cuisine KC’s Constructor

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

This is almost like The Melting Pot for kids frozen foods. Instead of Kid Cuisine creating a good solid meal, they decided to dial it up a notch and let the kid (or in this case, the Frozen Food Master) put this together for themselves. Why serve up a cheeseburger all compiled when KC can show you how to construct one piece by piece? It appears that these Kid Cuisine meals make a bigger deal with the theme of the meal versus the meal itself. Instead of Macaroni and Cheese, its a Penguin hosing down pasta with his homo-erotic cheese gunk. Instead of a chicken sandwich, everyone was Kung Fu fighting. Well, this time it’s KC donning a hard hat for the Kid Cuisine KC’s Constructor and waiting for the lunch whistle to be blown.

oh gummies….so hard to choose I also love the gummi coke bottles, Haribo gummi bears, but I think my favorite is the Haribo Fruit Salad gummi pack (always loved all three tho since I was a kid, lots of fond memories involving candy stores and malls)

This is a tough question for me as I am a huge fan of gummi candy. If I had to choose just one kind..it would probably be the flat peaches or peachy penguins (but I would settle for peach rings).

Sour Patch Kids. Or, well, really any sour candy beats the non sour stuff.

Incidentally, I like it that you kept this one a little shorter. Got to the point, just hit the highlights of the nutrition information, etc. It's not that I don't like to hear what you have to say, it's just that I think 15 min is a little much for something like this.

I just noticed this the other day, when I realized that it was the early episodes that I liked the best, back when they were maybe 7 minutes or so.

Favorite gummi candy has to be gummi frogs. They're half gummi half sugary goodness. Love them!

Being of a certain age, we didn't have brand-name Gummis when I was a litle girl. (I think the closest would be Jujubes, which were – as the 'fruit snacks' in this review – rock hard and the quickest way to lose a filling.) I was allergic to chocolate, so became a connoisseur of jellied candies. My favourites were Cinnamon Bears and Swedish Fish.
