This Marie Callender’s Orecchiette Chicken Pesto is one of the Pasta Al Dente meals from Marie Callender’s with a built-in steamer tray for perfectly cooked ingredients in the microwave. But cute little pasta shapes won’t mean diddly if it doesn’t taste good. The Frozen Food Master tells you how it measures up. Orecchiette are pasta shaped like little ears. Can you hear me now?

Vermicelli (little worms)! Actually sort of very thin spaghetti with my favorite homemade Luchese-style ragu

I don’t really eat pasta anymore, but when I was a kid I used to LOVE pesto tortellini. So. Fricking. Good.
The pesto could be cheese or mushroom, either or.
Now my favorite thing about pasta dishes is the tomato sauce and pesto. I could eat pasta sauce plain. Maybe a little parm on it. Of course I DON’T, that would be weird…

I have pasta or rice almost every day for dinner. I love Italian food, being half Maltese.
I love you FFM. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have stumbled across such an amazing person!

Linguine, without a doubt. That said, orecchiette is my favourite pasta when I’m serving broccoli pesto – I like the way the little ears act as little bowls for the chunky pesto.
This seems kinda’ pricey (works out to a penny/calorie), so ~sadly~ I don’t think I can afford to try it anytime soon.

Hay man, you sure got this right!
I scooped one of these last night. Yum Yum
Paid $2.99 for it.
The only problem with these (M Calleneder) is that they make SO many different ones, and you can never remember the one’s you like and don’t like!
This one is a winner!

Just tried the Garlic Penne Chicken and fully approve! I agree on the tomatoes, but tomatoes just don't survive well in a microwave, so I guess they did the best they could. But I really liked that you could actually taste the veggies (artichokes in mine). Will be trying more versions!
