Episode 235: Smart Ones Tuna Noodle Gratin

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

Not sure if I really like the term comfort food. It suggests a dependency on super starched, high in fat, creamy meals for me. And gosh darn it, I don’t need food to make me feel comforted. But the idea of this meal gives me no better way to describe it. It’s a meal that makes me want to put on my bunny slippers, cuddle in front of a warm fire, and stuff my face with tuna, egg noodles, and peas.

Only this thing is from Smart Ones! It’s attractiveness is defined in Weight Watcher’s Points. And it’s not even egg noodles: it’s linguini. So how will this Smart Ones Tuna Noodle Gratin meal actually taste? The Frozen Food Master tells you!

  • Randy and I use to eat this all the time. That is until Smart Ones changed the recipes about 3 years ago. It use to be full of flavor, but we as well found the new recipe bland.
