Episode 244: One Word Review El Monterey Beef & Bean Green Chili Burrito

Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

I’m just going to come right out and say it: I have a big problem with un-spicy chilies. It’s like, make up your damn mind whether you are going to be hot or not. I bought these El Monterey Beef & Bean Green Chili Burrito thinking it was some gimmick like green ketchup. I thought to myself, “Cool. It’s a spicy burrito with a cool new green color”. Of course the entire time I should have been thinking to myself, “Oh I see. It’s a green chili like salsa verde which isn’t hot at all.” (yes, I’m not too bright sometimes)

Anyway, I got over it. But then I took a bite and then something else struck me. You’ll hear what I mean in my one word review.

I Know. This is one of those times where a 3 word review would have come in handy.

Must have been awfully frustrating not being able to say: "Where's the beef?"
