Come on Lean Cuisine. I know you need to limit yourself with taste in order to deliver a low fat low calorie meal but to cram a disproportionately large amount of water chestnuts into this meal is a tragedy for my belly. Now, most of you know how much I dislike water chestnuts to begin with but the amount of this packing material in this already small meal was appalling. It was almost as if the 3 pieces of beef were so delicate and valuable that they needed to be protected with edible styrofoam.

Ok, so you get it, way too much filler, not enough substance.

Now as for taste, those of you who are hoping for a taste of beef chow fun are in for a real disappointment. This isn’t chow fun! This is leftover egg noodles! This isn’t a soy sauce, its a brown sweet sauce with a hint of asian-ness. Blech blech blech.

If I wanted to waste my calories on a precious few bites of food, this Lean Cuisine Beef Chow Fun would not be it.
