Review of Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Lemon Garlic Chicken and Shrimp (Episode 285)
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
I really love meals that include 2 types of meat. In this case it is the amazing chicken shrimp tag team. Like my fave WWF tag team from the 80′s, “The Can-Am Connection“, this chicken and shrimp in the Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers Lemon Garlic Chicken and Shrimp meal gives me the land and sea mojo my stomach craves. Add some fresh tasting spinach, broccoli, peppers and garlic over a bed of whole grain pasta and you have perfection.
The Frozen Food Master reviews this product, shows you how it looks, tells you how it tastes, and gives you the lowdown in this episode of Freezerburns.

::UPDATE:: After the publication of this review, Healthy Choice responded about my broken packaging:
“Thanks for the five stars Greg! We strive for flawless execution with our meals, and occasionally, a meal may come unsealed due to any number of factors, including transportation, delivery, and even shelving of the product at your local grocery store. Sorry about that – we continue to work hard to make sure that doesn’t happen. Should a consumer ever encounter this same problem, I encourage them to contact our Consumer Affairs team at 800-323-9980, who will provide a coupon for a replacement meal and take a complete report of the product to help us prevent the problem in the future.
Thanks again,
Gena”

My favorite thing to eat on a date is ice cream or gelato! Sharing and swapping flavors, really mellow and fun . . . always a winner
Also, the reviewed meal has most of my favorite flavors and I must try it now.

Wow, this looks great! A 5 star steamer meal, I think I saw it at my local store this past weekend, so I will give it a shot, after the last one I had I am hoping for a better result.
As for the QOTD, my favorite thing to have on a date would be the Asian Short Rib Tacos they serve at my favorite restaurant in Boston.

Favorite thing on a date: Bannana Split.
They're great, and you can't eat them by yourself.

This looks good… I will look out for it! I like garlic, so too bad about the breath factor. A good food for a date (that isn't boring) is tortellini: yummy and non-messy!!

Back in my single days my favorite thing to eat on a date was anything I didn't have to pick up with my hands and couldn't possibly drip on me. I always seemed to spill food on myself. Now that I'm married my favorite date food is sushi, hands down!
