Review of Jimmy Dean D-Lights Turkey Sausage Bowl (Episode 289)
Posted by: Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master
When I think Jimmy Dean, I think sausage. I think roll around in the mud with the hogs, wear a big Texas belt buckle type of sausage. I certainly don’t think low calorie low fat turkey sausage. I don’t think breakfast that I can feel good about eating after I ate it. So how will this Jimmy Dean D-Lights Turkey Sausage Bowl fare with the Frozen Food Master? Watch this episode to find out!

You could have done better describing the potatoes. Even after you repeating it so many times, I still do not completely understand. Are they average, better than average, or worse than average?

They were worse than average. Had a styrofoam/water chestnut consistency.

Favorite crumbly food:
It's gotta be crumbled sausage on pizza. Especially a crispy Jeno's frozen pizza (gonna go see if you've reviewed that!).

Oreo cookie crumbles. I'm not terribly crazy about Oreo cookies in general… I like them, but don't go out of my way to have them… but I am ashamed to admit that I am a sucker for all things “cookies & creme”. Oreos just reach whole new levels of deliciousness when crumbled and mixed into other foods (well, sweet foods specifically; not so much at the savory end of the spectrum). One of my favorite desserts is vanilla pudding with Oreo crumbles mixed in.

these bowl things suck. they taste fine but after eating one i feel like a sack of shit. it would be like buying oreos from the supermarket at normal price. like you didn't even just get them because they were on sale. you paid full price for them. i could never forgive myself.
thanks for this entertaining review.

Greg if you ever get a chance Jimmy Dean's makes a Turkey Sausage Muffin with Egg Whites and Cheese and they are really really good.I've had this one here you are eating, but I still like it on an english muffin better. You should try those they're really good.Favorite thing that is crumbly? That would have to be a blueberry muffin.Gotta love those crumbles on top of the muffin.
