Saw these in my super market this week, but they were charging $9.50 each for them, so unless they go on some sort of super sale I won't be trying them.

  • freezerburns

Yeah, a $10 price point is way too much IMO. It was only $750 when I bought it but I got it at Walmart.

i wonder when you'll remove that “be right back” thing. i suppose it's to tie your video more into the hungry nation into/outro. i hate change. i hate it more when it's so pointless.

the food looks good. very expensive.

i do agree with this point you touched on. frozen foods need to fucking man up. sick of things never being spicy or having any bite to it. so bland every thing is. yoda i am.

    i think i'd enjoy arby's.

    thanks for this entertaining review.

  • freezerburns

The food WAS good. But not good enough and the lack of rice pissed me off at that price.

The we'll be back thing is because my reviews are split into 2 parts to accommodate future advertisements inbetween episodes. It seems pointless now because right now there isnt any advertisement.

  • Isolder74

They are a similar price at the supermarket I usually shop at to the one the master quoted.

So I totally agree with you on the “imperfections” when you just taste the beef itself. Why can't they make frozen beef taste good?!?!? ARGH!!! And yes, rice would totally make this meal. Actually, I wouldn't mind if the beef was gone and it was just the veggies, rice and amazing sauce! Still ticks me off though, that whenever I buy a frozen meal with beef, (chicken, not so much. Why does chicken taste better than beef when frozen?!) it's usually the sauce and veggies I end up eating, and the beef gets thrown to the side. What a waste! Great review as always! I'm a fan-girl! ha.

I will not be surprised if Applebees ends up moving to the frozen food aisle. Seems to fit that mold.

the waffle house or IHOP. i love pancakes! maybe rice is optional as one coud have noodles or something else to taste? or even french bread and put the contents in the middle….ummm chow mein sandwich anyone?

  • Brian Pierson

I would like to see Olive Garden bring some choices from their menu to the freezer.

  • Travis

Great review as always Greg. Keep up the good work.

Also, I would like to see a Papa Johns try to make a good frozen pizza.

  • Angela

I don't know about frozen food aisle, but if Sweet Tomatoes can offer some of their soups to buy canned, I would be all over that!

I would fill my shopping cart with nothing but their Albondigas Locas and their Cream of Rosemary Potato soups! :)

I just saw these in Target the other day and wanted to try it but wanted to read/see reviews first. I want to try the generals chicken they have too. Thanks for your review! =) The restaurant I want to see bring products to the frozen food isle would probably be Papa Johns (like Travis said) I love their pizza =)

  • GlutenFreeinGrainbelt

Checked the label to see if this was ok for celiacs like me – drat, they use soy sauce with wheat. If they would only use the wheat-free kind of soy sauce, they could dramatically expand their market. The restaurant has a GF menu…

Greg, Great review I love Changs but, am always hesitant to buy frozen food. Not really a fan of food out of the box, but will try this as the closet Changes is almost an hour’s drive.
Would love to see the Cheesecake Factory in my freezer section. Love some of their dishes. Also as a note, might be nice if Changs and CCF would consider putting some of their gluten free menu items in the freezer. Thanks again.

  • Skfan84

I tried it…as far as frozen food goes 4/5…thin slices of breaded beef, sauteed onions, green beans…I disagree that it tasted starchy..I think the only problem was that it was frozen rather than fresh..but that is unavoidable in this situation…

  • Zimadona

It’s one of my favorite asian frozen cuisines! They should put more in it for the price.. I  am a tiny young woman and I can scarf down the entire bag to be full, and I get full really easily. So there really isn’t much for two people. It’s more like one serving per person and that’s overpriced for what you get in the bag. I think it’s probably one of the freshest frozen foods I’ve ever had. They don’t get soggy and gross like a lot of the frozen foods do.
