My favourite thing about the 4th of July weekend is the smell. Everything smells like sweat and sugar and barbecue and fire.

Is that the one that uses Splenda instead of Sugar? Those are nasty.

Gotta love a bomb pop in the summertime.I remember when I was a kid buying this from the ice cream man.But I don't believe it was made by Blue Bunny back then though. They also have a fudge bomb pop too.It had chocolate on the top, banana in the middle and chocolate on the bottom. That one wasn't bad.I also remember the one that was watermelon flavored. It looked like a watermelon too.It was green on the outside, red in the middle with believe it or not seeds that were candy flavored.I haven't seen them around in a long time now.But they were mmmmmmmm good.

Oh I forgot. My favorite thing about the 4th of july is watching the big fireworks display. And seeing my family members who only come around for the cookouts. You see them 3 times in the summer and not again until next year.Gotta love the family around the holidays. Can't wait to heat that grill up again.

We never really did much for the 4th of July. My father would cook on the grill, but we did that every weekend so it was nothing special. My brother and I used to drive down to Virginia to get fireworks because they are illegal in Delaware. Now I work on weekends and holidays and never have much time to enjoy it.
