Stouffer’s has made a bold statement here. They are saying with their new product, The Stouffer’s Stuffed Melt and Soup, that a proper frozen meal should have soup AND sandwich. Will it live up to the hype? The Frozen Food Master reviews this product, shows you how it looks, tells you how it tastes, and gives you the lowdown in this episode of Freezerburns.

  • Midnite Dynamite

I really like to dip those mini dinner rolls in my soup.

I'll dip whatever is available in my soup. I dip breadsticks, rolls, slices of bread, basically any bread product. I also crush up saltine crackers and put it in my soup.

Great review! I’m vegetarian and I’ve only seen non-vegetarian sandwich and soup combinations in my freezer aisles. I would loove to see a vegetarian offering from stouffer’s.

  • Kamarill

I couldn't agree more, Greg. The flavors are perfect, and the consistency is almost there. I was kinda grossed out when I had to chop up the frozen bisque to stir it, but past that, I enjoyed it.

My favorite thing to dip in soup is probably breadsticks. They always seem to be hanging around whenever I have soup.

Gotta tell ya Greg, the new home page format, the way it has been de-cluttered and simplified, leaves it a little too obscure. There used to be a little caption telling us what you are reviewing currently, now there's just a little blurb in the video screen that doesn't provide enough space to tell us what you're reviewing. Also, the 'Latest Reviews' are no longer displayed up in the top-right corner like they used to,… there's just a display of screen-shots of past reviews in the bottom, but the thumbnails are too small to see what the products are.

This is only an issue on the home page, the actual 'Review' pages are not lacking this. But I think it was more appealing when the visitor comes to the home page and can see the full name of what you are reviewing and the most recently reviewed products' names, as in the home page format before this week…. Too much clutter?

  • Gregory Ng: The Frozen Food Master

I started doing that a couple of episodes ago.

dam when did u start listing ingredients? or have i never noticed till this post? *scolls down….

looks god, bread cheese, ham and tomato soup….ummm

to dip in soup…has to be garlic toast bread…someting with a little crisp but something thats “soft” so it soaks up some of the soup..

  • Warrior640

I like dipping bread stick, such as the ones that come in for free at Olive Garden.

  • Warrior640

I also like to dip any type of good bread in soup. When I sometimes eat the russian/ukrainian soup borsch (it’s red), I dip it in that as well.

  • Andy

    Good grief!

    Look at the ingredient list!!!

No wonder Mom made me carry a lunchbox to school!!!

Can't seem to watch this review. It says “advertizement playing” but the screen is just black and the control symbols are greyed out. I guess I'll try later to see if this get fixed.

  • InquisitiveDing

@ Andy. What do you think the ingredients of a ham and cheese sandwich and a bowl of Campbells tomato soup would look like all drawn out?

  • http://hazer772.wordpress.com Jason-Wayne

This sounded like such a disaster, I am so beyond shocked that it is actually any good. I have to try it.

this tasted nasty to me and the soup was the worst part
