For the record I have nothing against vegan meals or gluten-free meals. What I do have a problem with is putting a mess of a meal in my mouth. What I do have a problem with is something that feels like a thousand different ingredients and flavors crammed into one bite. This describes the Moo Moo’s Sweet ‘N Spicy Curry Tofu meal that I had a misfortune of eating. Thanks for the request Jessica Kent!

Moo Moo’s says: “Deliciously marinated organic tofu cubes tossed in Moo’s Sweet ‘N Spicy Curry Sauce with fresh purple cabbage, plump raisins, sweet pineapple pieces, toasted sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.”

hahha I find MooMoo’s a funny name. thats upsetting, it sounded kinda good. minus the curry. YOUR FACE tells it all. I love it hahahha! looks like im passing on this one, ive had tasty gluten free or vegan meals that are delicious. and SEVEN dollars is an awful lot for one box.
QOD-hmm thats a hard one. My fave “mixed up” thing I guess would be chex mix ! they used to make this honey nut flavor that I absolutely adored! havent had it in years though haha

Seven bucks for a frozen meal for one? I really don’t get this. There doesn’t seem to be anything all that pricey in there. Tofu isn’t crazy expensive, nor are raisins or cabbage or pineapple or sesame seeds. Sure spices are worth some coin, but even a strongly flavored dish for one isn’t going to have 5 bux worth of curry in there. I understand the higher prices for vegan frozen things when there is some obvious mad science going on like in the bbq “rib” patties that actually make a pretty decent faux “McRib” sandwich. But this really seems like they are just tacking on 4 or 5 extra dollars just for the “Vegan and gluten free” lable.

Too bad too. I actually like sweet and curry mixed together, and am fine with a starchless (and meatless, for that matter) meal. I’m not sure that Dijon mustard fits in well with my concept of this meal, but I would certainly be willing to give it a shot. I probably would be one of the people who would be a prime candidate to like this, were I not so opposed to being blatently ripped off.

My favorite mixed up thing? I guess my husband. He gets pretty random sometimes, bless his heart.

My favorite thing that is mixed up is.. trail mix!

My favorite mixed up is gumbo and jambalaya of any varieties, nachos grandé. And of course Supreme pizza. Then there’s always the 7-egg avocado/Monterey Jack cheese and salsa’d omelette.

Instructions: Mix them all together and serve!

Serves 10 of you. One of me.

Favorite thing that is mixed up? just the “mixed up” part makes me recall a breakfast we used to have sometimes back when I was camping in Boy Scouts. We called it morning mix-up basically because it was a bunch of different breakfast foods mixed together in a pan. It was basically just sauteed onions, green peppers, hash browns, and ham that was mixed up with eggs and topped with cheese.

Thanks for reviewing this and saving the rest of us to expense/pain of trying it. I probably wouldn’t buy this anyway since the combination of all those ingredients just really doesn’t sound all that great, not to mention the super high cost for a single serving meal.
