Klondike What the Fudge? Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich Video Review (Ep447)

I’m sorry but this is a very silly name for a product. It’s like Klondike is saying, “we want to say fuck but we are saying fudge. get it?” Name aside, i had high hopes for this one. The brownies are super fudgey and crazy moist. But the fudge inside was virtually non-existent. Not bad, but not great either.

The Frozen Food Master reviews this Klondike What the Fudge? Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich. He will tell you how this frozen product looks, smells, and tastes in this episode of Freezerburns.

hahaha you’re too funny, and disappointing about the fudge!!- still looks tasty!! although, I agree moist + freezer = weird…
QOD- hahah I happen to be a fan of “friggen”. haah so much fun to say!

  • Zepp

    Con-Sarn it!!

That’s a good fudgen’ review. The reason that fudgen’ brownie is still fudgen’ moist is because it’s probably not fudgen’ overcooked like cake or cookies and the moisture from the ice cream keeps it in a nice fudgen’ brownie consistency.

I think that question mark really threw you off. Sure, the name and packing is part of the product you are reviewing, but I bet it would get a higher rating without the bad pun. The fudge appeared to be in the dead center of the sandwich just as the picture showed. I would have liked to hear a more descriptive opinion of the fudge other than, ‘eh.’

I got my hopes up based on the picture that I would hit fudge on my first bite. In reality the fudge was a small chunk in the direct center, On the box it shows a bite that is only 1/10th in with fudge. Oh well..

Currently, my favorite euphemism is, “Shut the front door.”

I have a friend that used to say “son of a beaver’s butt!” instead of… well you know what he meant.

I am a bit disappointed with this review. I actually had some of these sandwiches a couple of weeks ago and I thought they were awesome. The best ice cream sandwich I’ve ever had out of the freezer aisle. In all honesty, it looks to me like you got a gipped on the fudge. I got to the fudge in the first bite. I proceeded to eat around the fudge and the last bit was just all fudgy brownie awesomeness.

I’d take one of the what the fudges any day over most regular Klondike bars.

i mother fucking love ice cream sandwiches

    thanks for this entertaining review

I happen to enjoy substituting STFU with “shut the front door” but that loses its funny very quickly when said over and over again.

I substitute the word “KRUNK” for all my swear words.

Instead of swear words I will either say “Gosh Darn it!” or “Rats”

I like substituting “fork” in place of “fuck”.

“Artificially flavored vanilla ice cream is not a great way to start a conversation.”

At least it’s not artificially flavored vanilla frozen dairy desert! ;)

  • Kathleen Karnes

Cakes do not freeze to the same texture as ice cream, usually have something that caused them to rise and be fluffy with small air spaces. Adding too much egg white to home made ice cream or sorbet will cause it to stay soft and not freeze solid. Under baked brownie would freeze harder. Moistness comes from the “natural” additives, guar gum, carrageenan. Cooking is chemistry.  It looked as if there was less ice cream than the picture on the box. Usually just  FFS.
