Before you start wondering what the heck a Razzleberry is let me save you the trouble. Razzleberry isn’t a particular fruit at all. In fact, it’s the name of a pie that typically contains multiple types of berries. In this case, the Marie Callender’s Razzleberry Pie contains red raspberries and blackberries. This pie has textbook flakey, buttery crust and a filling to die for. Not too sweet and not too tart!

From the box: “Marie Callender’s Razzleberry Pie is daring, delightful and downright delicious. It’s the perfect pairing of red, ripe raspberries and sweet, juicy blackberries baking together in Marie’s legendary flaky pastry crust. Berry, berry good indeed!”

The Frozen Food Master reviews this Marie Callender’s Razzleberry Pie. He will tell you how this frozen product looks, smells, and tastes in this episode of Freezerburns.

The Flavor “Razzleberry” played a significant role in the 1962 Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol  — Tiny Tim was hoping for a big Christmas Dinner with Razzleberry Dressing … That’s probably where Marie Callender’s got the name ….BTW .. Merry Christmas

Video games didn’t exist in my childhood, but I enjoyed Tron and Frogger in my 30′s.  (Yes, that was a long time ago, and I’m pretty old now.)

QOTD – Asteriods & Burgertime were favorites back in the arcade days.

Having lived through the Arcade, NES and 16 bit generations, it would be impossible for me to pick a single game. Mario 3, Rampart, Sim City (SNES), Mortal Kombat, The Simpsons (arcade) Moonwalker (arcade) are all classics.  I know I’ve gamed more the past month than in many previous years combined, thanks to Skyward Sword, which is an awesome game even though I wasn’t a Zelda enthusiast with the originals, and Ocarina being the only Zelda game I’ve beaten or invested any significant time on.

I also must agree with Tom’s sentiments and Frogger, best atari game ever imo!

WOW!That thing not only has Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oils in it,but 4 grams of Trans Fat I’m taking it is per serving is really bad too.Favorite game when I was a kid?Well I actually had 3 that I loved and still do to this day.Pac Man,Burger Time, and of course Super Mario Bros.

I’m still raising an extremely skeptical eyebrow at the idea that Marie Callender’s pies are actually good… unless this is one case in which the line of frozen food is actually better than the restaurant chain.
